On Tuesday, April 22, 2008, the Board will be convening at 6 pm at the Taft High School Campus for a very important SPECIAL FULL BOARD MEETING and TOWN HALL MEETING. (5461 Winnetka Ave, Woodland Hills, CA 91364)
The SPECIAL Board Meeting (6pm) will address Budget issues, Public Safety issues and PLUM issues, all detailed in the attached Agenda. (pdf)
The TOWN HALL Meeting (7pm) will address the LAUSD’s proposal to house CHAMPS Charter School on the Taft High School campus. Board of Education member Marlene Canter, LAUSD Senior Deputy Superintendent Ramon Cortines, UTLA President A.J.Duffy will all be there to participate in the Town Hall Meeting.
