Pierce College’s agricultural tradition continues to thrive as the Farm Market opens for its fourth season at the corner of De Soto Avenue and Victory Boulevard.
Featuring seasonal produce as well as jams, olives, dressings and honey, the Market generates revenue that then supports the Foundation for Pierce College.
In the midst of the ongoing development dialogue and the discussions over housing, employment and transportation, the Farm Market serves to remind us that a sustainable community also needs a local food source.
